Outback Australia will introduce you to colours that you didn’t know existed and landforms that you could never imagine. This living cultural landscape is the physical and metaphoric heart of Australia.

Vivid Tours International presents a unique opportunity to explore the rich culture and spectacular landscape of Central Australia. Your guide and tour director, Simha Koether, is an experienced and respected art practitioner who has lived and worked in Central Australia for over 15 years.

You will travel by 4WD in a small group of six to twelve people on an exclusive outback odyssey to discover the people, art and culture of Australia’s heart—From Alice Springs to the West MacDonnell Ranges through to Uluru (Ayers Rock).

Get off the beaten track to visit ancient petroglyphs at N’Dhala Gorge, visit art centres and enjoy a bush foods picnic at Palm Valley. Try your hand at plein air (open-air) watercolour painting immersed within the timeless landscape which Namatjira made famous.
